1st press release – TERROR IN THE PENAL CAMP PRISON

Since this morning, the prisoners of the Penal Camp are victims of a ferocious repression, an incredible violence…

Hot water poured on them, shots, tear gas grenades, electricity cut off…

Several wounded were counted among the prisoners.

The prisoners of the Penal Camp have even started a hunger strike today to protest against the violence that is taking place against them.

FRAPP, the collective for justice and against police violence and the families of the detainees are following the situation with great concern.

We call on the prison administration to ensure the safety of prisoners and respect for their rights and to put an end to the regular harassment of prisoners in general, especially those in the prison of the Penal Camp.

The FRAPP, the collective for justice and against police violence and the families of detainees call for the release of the 35 prisoners of the penal camp put in solitary confinement.

FRAPP, the collective for justice and against police violence and the families of detainees are asking the director of the prison administration to calm the new head of court and the director of the prison of the Penal Camp.

Tear gas grenades were thrown into the prisoners’ rooms and the prisoners locked up with tear gas fumes (see photos).

The prisoners have rights and the FRAPP, the collective for justice and against police violence and the families of detainees will hold the justice minister responsible for any tragedy that will happen in the prison of the Penal Camp.
