MUSIC – Amazing! Aya Nakamura and Alicia Keys electrify the Accor Arena with “Djadja”

What about the pleasant evening of July 7, 2022 at the Accor Arena in the presence of more than 20,000 people? In a few days, the “people” newspapers have written all the praises. Scheduled to start on July 1, 2020, and then on July 7, 2021, the Alicia Keys concert at the Accor Arena – part of its “Alicia, The World Tour” – has been postponed each time due to coronavirus. Finally! Alicia Keys finally got on the stage. It was a big surprise! It was crazy. The fans had a blast.

Alicia Keys landed on the R&B stage in 2001 with “Songs in A Minor”, a phenomenal album. How beautiful this young lady was! Unlike the other princesses souls, the beautiful Alicia came in rap with a very sophisticated style, more accomplished, better worked. But the most amazing thing is that this lady is a genius who knows almost everything: arrange, compose, play the piano, sing. The list is long. Before she was crowned “pop diva”, she had already conquered our hearts. Today, she is living a full professional and private life. Everything succeeds her. Alicia left her husband, rapper Swizz Beatz, her two children ( Egypt and Ali) and her home, named the ‘Dreamland’. A sumptuous house perched on the mountains of San Diego, California. What an artist would not dream of having the life of this genius pianist. The public at Accor Arena can attest to this.

A concert triumph
When Alicia goes on stage wearing a silver metallic jumpsuit, the public runs out of admiring formulas. He scans: “Alicia! Alicia! Alicia!”. Her elegant figure captures her waist perfectly, giving ease to her hips and breasts. A large silver sequined belt moulds its basin. Its roundness gives new energy to the enthusiastic crowd that rejoices. Right from the start, Alicia lives up to her reputation. She has a real talent. His powerful and undulating voice, his respect for the measure and his correct manner are elements that have guaranteed the success of this extraordinary concert.

Aya versus Alicia: A surprising Alpha duo
During this unique live performance, Alicia offered us a world exclusive. As the concert drew to a close, she had words that surprised the audience at the Arena. “Let me introduce my sister Aya” throws the star from the top of the podium. Stupor. We didn’t know that the American star had a sister named Aya. It was a relief when we saw Aya Nakamura on stage. She had just invited Aya Nakamura to join her on the stage. Something still unheard of in France. When Aya starts humming a tune, Alicia catches the dizzying rhythm in the blink of an eye: it’s a duo between the two stars on the tube “djadja”. The American and the Malian start singing dreams and stars. The audience is wild. Alicia does not master the song well, but she has two major assets for her: experience and confidence.
