CAMEROON: International Short Story Writing Competition

The CENE Littéraire with the slogan « Readers engaged » has just launched an international short story competition called « Kakahari Short Story Competition ». The said contest is only open to authors who have never been published independently.

The « Kakahari Short Story Competition » will take place in three languages, one African and two European: Swahili, English and French. The text that must be proposed by the authors participating in this contest, must contain between 2500 and 3500 words. The text must include a passage from the novel « Born on a Tuesday » by the Nigerian writer Elnathan John published by Zulma Publishing.To recall that the Nigerian writer was the winner of the Literary Prize of the Literary Last Supper « Africa 2019 », a prize set up by the initiator of the CENE the lawyer Flore Agnès Nda Zao alias Ngoan Beti who resides in Switzerland.

The call for texts and the conditions for this international news writing competition will be published on the Facebook page of the CENE Littéraire on 19 May 2020.
